Bottoms Up is an all-round drinking glass inspired by Italian lifestyle and Scandinavian simplicity, the better of two worlds. The shape is derived from eliminating the traditional stem of wine glasses. To create a modern and updated design the main container has been levelled by mirroring and stacking it on top of a related form. The grip is informal and comfortable and the glasses are stackable. By raising the liquid from the table top this adds a ceremonial atmosphere. Bottoms Up is a frame for the small celebration of everyday life. Turning the glass upside down, there is even room for a nightcap inside the stem.
